The MSS Fibre CAB-LT-12-SM is a 12-fibre singlemode OS2 loose tube cable designed for outdoor fibre optic infrastructure. Featuring a protective polyethylene inner sheath and a blue nylon outer jacket, it is suitable for direct burial underground installations as well as conduit and duct applications. Its construction supports dependable fibre routing in demanding external environments.

With 12 optical fibres housed in gel-filled loose tubes, this cable provides a practical solution for network installations requiring multiple fibre connections within a single cable. The dry-blocked core incorporates water-blocking tape and water-swellable yarns to help restrict moisture ingress, while the thixotropic gel within the tubes provides additional protection against water penetration.

Water Blocking and Environmental Protection

Designed for outdoor use, the CAB-LT-12-SM combines several protective features to help maintain the integrity of the fibre core. The black polyethylene inner sheath provides UV resistance, while the blue polyamide nylon outer jacket offers additional UV and insect or termite resistance.
