When electrical emergencies strike on the job site, every second counts. Electrical rescue kits give you and your team the critical tools needed to respond instantly to electrical shock incidents, potentially saving lives while keeping your worksite compliant with Australian WHS regulations.
Working with live electrical systems puts your crew at risk every day. These rescue kits equip you with specialized tools designed for safe victim removal from energized circuits without putting rescuers in danger. You get insulated rescue hooks, voltage-rated gloves, and emergency response equipment that meets Australian safety standards—all organized in one grab-and-go kit.
Australian workplace safety regulations require proper rescue equipment on sites where electrical work occurs. These kits ensure you meet your duty of care obligations while avoiding costly compliance issues. Inspectors notice when sites lack proper emergency equipment—don’t risk project delays or penalties.
Quick access to rescue equipment makes the difference between tragedy and recovery:
Insulated rescue hooks safely remove victims from electrical contact without shocking the rescuer
Voltage-rated protective gear shields responders during emergency interventions
Organized kit design eliminates fumbling during high-stress emergency situations
Portable cases travel easily between job sites and vehicle storage
Durable construction withstands harsh Australian work environments
For comprehensive site safety, explore our complete safety & ppe range including protective equipment, warning signage, and emergency response tools.
Standard kits contain insulated rescue hooks, voltage-rated gloves, CPR face shields, emergency response guides, and testing equipment. Contents vary by kit level—basic kits cover essential rescue tools while advanced kits include additional protective equipment and medical supplies.
All rescue kits sold through iSupply Electrical comply with Australian WHS regulations and relevant electrical safety standards. Equipment carries appropriate voltage ratings and certifications required for use on Australian worksites.
Inspect rescue equipment quarterly and immediately after any use. Check insulated tools for damage, verify glove integrity, replace expired medical supplies, and ensure all components remain accessible. Document inspections to maintain compliance records.
Kit requirements depend on your crew size and voltage levels. Residential electricians typically need basic kits rated for 1000V, while commercial and industrial contractors require heavy-duty kits rated for higher voltages. Sites with multiple workers should maintain kits for every work area.
Many kits allow component additions to match your specific electrical work requirements. Contact our team to discuss custom configurations for specialized industrial applications or unique site conditions.
