Description
Duplex Construction for Efficient Installation
Built with a duplex zip-cord, also known as figure-8 construction, this cable keeps the two cable elements joined together for convenient handling during installation. Its design supports organised cable routing and helps simplify preparation when working with compatible fibre optic equipment and network infrastructure.
The duplex configuration is suitable for applications requiring two fibre paths within a single cable assembly. This makes it a practical choice for installers working on structured cabling projects where reliable fibre connectivity and manageable cable preparation are important considerations.
LSZH Outer Sheath for Suitable Indoor Applications
The cable features a low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) outer sheath. LSZH materials are designed to reduce smoke production and avoid releasing halogen-containing gases when exposed to fire, making them a consideration for installations where cable material requirements specify LSZH construction. Always confirm that the cable meets the project’s applicable fire performance, installation, and building requirements before installation.
Designed for Convenient Cable Preparation
The 3.0mm cable profile offers a practical format for handling and routing in compatible installations. Its construction is designed to be easy to strip and terminate, helping installers prepare cable ends for connection without unnecessary complexity.
The purple outer sheath also provides a visible colour distinction that can assist with cable identification and organisation. Before ordering, verify OS1 compatibility, connector requirements, and the intended installation environment to ensure the cable suits the network design.
