Transco Architrave Switch 2 Gang 10a Slim Elite AS2E

Description

Transco Slim Elite 2 Gang Architrave Switch

The Transco Slim Elite AS2E is a compact 2 gang architrave switch designed for Australian electrical installations where space-efficient switching is required. Rated at 10A and 240V for a.c. single-phase applications, it provides a practical switching solution for residential, commercial and maintenance projects.

Its slim profile measures just 35mm wide, 85mm long and 20mm deep, making it suitable for installations where a narrower switch format is preferred. The switch uses single-pole operation and accommodates 1 or 2 socket gangs, with provision for cable sizes up to 1.5mm x 4. This configuration gives electricians flexibility when working with compatible wiring arrangements.

Durable Polycarbonate Construction

The AS2E features a moulded top cover and underbody manufactured from impact-resistant polycarbonate. Finished in electrical white, its neutral appearance suits a range of interior electrical installations while providing a robust housing for regular trade use.

The switch is designed for vertical on-wall mounting with 74mm fixing centres. For flush installations, it fits standard brackets, while surface mounting is compatible exclusively with Transco Wafer Series mounting flanges. These mounting options allow the switch to be incorporated into different installation requirements using the appropriate hardware.

Australian Standards Compliance

For professional electrical work, the AS2E is manufactured to meet relevant Australian and New Zealand electrical standards, including AS/NZS 3100, AS/NZS 3112 and AS/NZS 3133. Its 10A, 240V rating makes it suited to compatible a.c. switching applications within its specified electrical requirements.
