Description
HRC3 Protection for Demanding Work Environments
The Bool HRC3 Parka is designed for workers requiring protective, high-visibility outerwear in environments with an HRC3 hazard risk category. Rated for protection up to 26.0 cal/cm², it combines flame-resistant materials and practical workwear features to support demanding electrical and industrial applications.
Its 110D three-layer construction uses a polyester, polyurethane, modacrylic and cotton blend, with an FR fleece lining and flame-retardant thread used throughout the seams. The insulated construction also helps provide protection in colder working conditions.
High Visibility and Practical Workwear Design
The parka uses a double hoop tape configuration combined with segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape to support visibility in demanding work environments. Biomotion sleeve tape helps make arm and limb movement more visible, which is particularly useful when workers are active around worksites.
For changing conditions, the zip-off sleeves allow the garment to be converted into a vest for hotter climates. Radio loops on both shoulders provide convenient attachment points for communication equipment, while the back flap includes access for a lanyard.
Waterproof Protection for Variable Conditions
The Bool Parka is constructed from waterproof, breathable fabric with sealed seams to help protect against wet conditions. Combined with its insulated design, it provides a practical outer layer for workers operating outdoors or in colder environments.
The anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across its surface in accordance with EN 1149-5:2018, while the flame-resistant construction supports its use in relevant electrical and industrial work environments.
