Description
HRC3 Protection for Demanding Work
The Bool HRC3 Parka is designed for workers operating in high-risk environments where arc flash and electrical hazards require appropriately rated protective workwear. Rated HRC3 for protection up to 26.0 cal/cm², this yellow and navy parka combines protective construction with practical features suited to demanding work conditions.
Its 110D three-layer construction uses a polyester, polyurethane, modacrylic and cotton blend, incorporating a fire-resistant lining, FR fleece and flame-retardant thread in the seams. The insulated construction also helps provide protection from cold conditions, making it suitable for outdoor work where weather and temperature can add to the challenge.
Waterproof, Breathable and Highly Visible
The parka features waterproof construction with sealed seams to provide additional protection against water. Its breathable fabric helps support comfort during active work, while anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across the garment’s surface in accordance with EN 1149-5:2018.
Visibility is enhanced through segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape, a double hoop tape configuration and biomotion sleeve tape designed to make limb movement more noticeable. The high-vis yellow and navy colour combination is suited to work environments where visibility is essential.
Practical Features for Electrical Trades
Designed with trade use in mind, the parka includes zip-off sleeves that allow conversion to a vest for hotter conditions. A back flap provides access to a lanyard point, while radio loops on both shoulders offer convenient equipment attachment.
