The Volt Safety MAT-4-K Insulated Mat Kit provides a practical insulating barrier between the operator and ground when working around electrical equipment. Rated Class 4 to 36,000V, the mat is designed for high-voltage electrical applications where dependable insulation and operator protection are essential. Measuring 1m x 1m and 5mm thick, it provides a substantial working surface while remaining flexible enough for convenient handling.
The mat is manufactured from EPDM rubber, providing flexibility and protection against ozone cracking. An anti-slip finish on both sides helps provide secure footing during electrical work. Its grey finish provides a professional, easily identifiable surface for use in electrical work areas.
Durable Mat and Storage Bag
This kit includes a dedicated mat roll-up style bag to help protect the insulated mat from foreign objects that could compromise its integrity. The bag is made from non-conductive heavy-duty PVC and features a strong carry strap for convenient transport between work locations.
At 1.07m long, the storage bag allows the 1m x 1m insulated mat to be rolled away neatly, helping reduce storage requirements in vehicles, workshops and electrical work areas. Keeping the mat protected when not in use can also help support its service life.
