The Volt Safety MAT-2-K Insulated Mat Kit provides an insulating barrier between the operator and ground to help protect workers from ground potential during electrical work. The Class 2 mat is rated to 17,000V and is manufactured to AS/NZS IEC 61111 and IEC 61111 requirements.

The 1m x 1m mat is manufactured from flexible EPDM rubber, providing durability and resistance to ozone cracking. Its 2.6mm thickness offers a practical insulating surface for professional electrical applications, while the anti-slip finish on both sides helps provide secure footing during use.

Convenient Storage and Protection

The included MAT-BAG roll-up style bag provides a convenient way to transport and store the insulated mat between jobs. Made from non-conductive heavy-duty PVC, the black bag helps shield the mat from foreign objects that could potentially damage its integrity.

The mat can be rolled into the 1.07m-long bag, reducing the space required for storage and transportation. A durable carry strap makes it easier for electricians and maintenance teams to transport the kit between work areas, vehicles and job sites.
