Manufactured as a Type I insulated blanket, the MAT-2-BLANKET has a 3.5mm thickness and is rated Class 2 at 17,000V. The blanket complies with ASTM D1048 Type I requirements, making it suitable for electrical work where insulating equipment is required.
A reinforced 5mm edge helps improve durability and resistance to tearing during regular handling and positioning. The orange colour also provides clear visibility in the work area, making the blanket easy to identify when used as part of an electrical safety setup.
Secure and Practical Design
Four 15mm-diameter eyelets provide convenient points for securing the blanket over equipment. The eyelets are positioned 20mm from the corners, allowing the blanket to be fastened according to the requirements of the application.
For additional flexibility, the blanket can be used with suitable insulating blanket clamps. The available 1000V Insulating Blanket Clamp is made from durable, non-conductive nylon and provides a practical way to hold the blanket securely in position.
