Arc Flash Protection for HRC2 Work
The Bool Parvotex Arc Flash Navy D/N Trouser is designed for electrical work in HRC2 environments with an arc flash rating of up to 8.6 cal/cm². The trousers use inherent Parvotex FR fabric to provide flame-resistant protection while incorporating 32% cotton for a more breathable feel during demanding work.
The 92S size provides a shorter fit option, while the wider size range helps electrical contractors and maintenance teams select a suitable waist and leg fit for different workers. Integrated belt loops provide practical everyday functionality on site.
Breathable Parvotex FR Construction
The fabric combines 50% Modacrylic, 32% Cotton, 10% Polyamide and 8% Polyarylate. This inherent FR construction is designed to maintain flame-resistant properties as part of the fabric rather than relying solely on a surface treatment.
The anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across its surface in accordance with EN 1149-3, helping reduce the risk associated with electrostatic build-up during electrical work. The trousers also provide 50+ UPF protection for outdoor applications.
Visibility and Practical Site Wear
Silver reflective tape helps improve wearer visibility in low-light conditions, making the trousers suitable for electrical and maintenance environments where workers may operate around plant, equipment or other site hazards.
