Arc flash Navy Lift Up Kit HRC4 50cal/cm2 SLX Size Medium – ArcPlus ARC-KIT4-AP-USLX-LU-N-M

Description

Lightweight Arc Flash Protection for Switching Work

The ArcPlus Ultralight Arc Flash Navy Lift Up Kit delivers HRC4 arc flash protection with a 50 cal/cm² rating in a lightweight single-layer construction. At 315 gsm, the suit is designed to reduce bulk and weight compared with heavier premium arc flash garments, helping electrical professionals work with greater freedom of movement.

Based on GORE PYRAD technology, the fabric combines arc flash protection with a breathable construction suited to demanding electrical environments. The single-layer design provides a practical alternative for workers who need high-level protection without unnecessarily restrictive PPE.

The Medium-size kit includes a protective jacket and trousers, providing coverage for electrical switching and maintenance applications where appropriate arc flash PPE is required. Always select PPE according to the specific electrical risk assessment and site requirements.

Lift-Up Hood for Better Visibility and Communication

The integrated Lift-Up Hood is designed with an anti-claustrophobic approach, allowing the wearer to communicate more easily with colleagues while maintaining protective coverage when the hood is required. The design can also make donning and doffing more straightforward during work preparation and site changes.

Protective dielectric eyewear is included as part of the kit, providing an additional component of the PPE system. The hood also comes with its own protective calico bag to help keep the hood protected and organised when stored separately. The kit is supplied in a large high-visibility storage bag, helping protect the contents while making the PPE easier to identify and transport between electrical work areas.

Practical HRC4 PPE Kit for Electrical Professionals

Designed for professionals who need high-level arc flash protection, the ArcPlus kit combines the jacket, trousers, hood and dielectric eyewear into a practical switching PPE package. Its lightweight construction is particularly useful where workers need to move, position equipment or communicate while wearing arc flash protection.

Available in multiple sizes and colour configurations, the ArcPlus Ultralight range can accommodate different workplace requirements. This specific model is the Navy Medium configuration. The kit is designed in accordance with recognised electrical safety requirements, including NFPA 70E and AS 4836, with arc rating determined in accordance with ASTM F1959.
