43cal HRC4 Arc Flash Protection for Electrical Switching

The Sherwood 43cal Standard SWC Arc Flash Kit provides a complete PPE solution for electrical workers operating in high-energy arc flash environments. Designed for HRC4 applications up to 43 cal/cm², the kit combines Sherwood Nomex protective garments with selected components from DuPont Nomex and Paulson USA.

The kit includes a hood, switching coat, leggings, arc flash gloves, MSA V-Gard 500 hard hat and heavy-duty waterproof PPE bag. This gives electrical contractors and maintenance teams a practical, ready-to-use protective setup without having to source individual components separately.

Sherwood Nomex Protection for HRC4 Work

The switching coat is designed for quick donning, helping workers establish efficient PPE procedures before undertaking electrical switching or maintenance tasks. The Nomex hood, coat and leggings are specified for 43 cal/cm² HRC4 protection, while the included gloves provide the required arc flash protection specified for the kit.
