43cal HRC4 Arc Flash Protection for Switching

The Sherwood 43cal Lift-Up SWC Arc Flash Kit provides a complete PPE solution for electrical personnel working in HRC4 arc flash environments up to 43 cal/cm². Manufactured using quality materials from DuPont Nomex and Paulson USA, the kit combines protective clothing and equipment into a practical package for switching and electrical work.

Designed for efficient preparation, the switching coat supports quick donning when personnel need to prepare for work in hazardous electrical environments. The included leggings, gloves, hood and hard hat provide a coordinated PPE setup, while the supplied PPE bag helps keep the equipment together and protected during transport and storage.

Lift-Up Hood for Improved Communication

The included lift-up hood is designed for personnel who prefer greater visibility and easier communication when conditions allow the hood to be raised. This can provide a less restrictive experience while maintaining the protective hood as part of the complete arc flash PPE system.

Standard and vented hood configurations are also available as options. The vented hood is designed to provide a cooling and anti-fogging effect, while the lift-up configuration offers an alternative for users who value easier communication with colleagues on site.

Complete Sherwood Nomex Arc Flash Kit

This HRC4 kit includes the major protective components required for a coordinated arc flash PPE setup. The switching coat and leggings are complemented by arc flash gloves, a protective hood and an MSA V-Gard 500 hard hat. Everything is supplied in a heavy-duty waterproof PPE bag for convenient storage and transport. The kit is available in sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 5XL, with non-standard options available on request. Lead times may apply to special configurations.
