The ArcTech Merino Skull Cap Beanie HRC2 8.1cal is designed to provide next-to-body head protection for operators working in environments where arc flash, fire, radiant heat and molten metal splash hazards may be present. Combining protective performance with the natural comfort of Merino wool, this lightweight beanie provides a practical layer of protection that can be worn beneath a safety helmet.

Constructed from XP Merino Inherent fabric, the beanie combines 50% Merino Wool with 50% Lenzing FR. The inherent protective properties of the fabric are designed to provide flame-resistant performance without relying on a surface treatment. The fabric is also naturally anti-static and offers UV protection and odour-reducing properties, supporting comfortable wear during demanding work.

The Skull Cap Beanie features flat-seam stitching on the inside to minimise irritation when worn for extended periods. Its lightweight construction makes it suitable for hotter climates, while the soft Merino blend provides a comfortable feel against the skin.
