Moisture Protection and Environmental Resistance

The thixotropic gel within the loose tubes helps prevent water from travelling along the fibre-containing tubes, while the dry-blocked core adds another layer of moisture protection. A non-metallic, fibre-reinforced plastic central strength member provides tensile strength without using a metallic central reinforcement element. Polyester-based rip cords are also incorporated to assist with sheath removal during cable preparation and installation.
