This MSS Fibre patch lead features OM3 multimode fibre for compatible network infrastructure, including Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. Its duplex configuration provides two optical fibre paths within one cable assembly, making it suitable for equipment and patch panel connections that require duplex fibre connectivity. The ST connectors provide a standardised connection interface for compatible fibre optic equipment.

LSZH Sheath for Indoor Installations

The cable is fitted with a 3 mm low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) sheath. This material is designed to reduce smoke and halogen emissions compared with conventional halogen-containing cable materials when exposed to fire. The aqua-coloured jacket also helps identify OM3 fibre cabling during installation, maintenance and cable management. Its 5-metre length provides flexibility when connecting equipment positioned apart within racks, cabinets and telecommunications spaces.

Factory-Terminated Connectors for Convenient Patching

Factory-terminated connectors help simplify installation by providing prepared connection ends without requiring field termination. This patch lead features ST connectors on both ends and is rated for up to 500 mating cycles in accordance with IEC 61300-2-2. Designed for compatible fibre optic systems, it offers a practical option for establishing or maintaining connections between network equipment and fibre distribution panels.
