Description
HRC3 Protection for Electrical Work
The Bool HRC3 Parka is designed for demanding work environments where electrical hazards, visibility and weather protection are important considerations. This Orange/Navy 2XL parka is rated HRC3 at 26.0 cal/cm² and is designed for use in environments requiring appropriate arc-flash protective clothing.
Its 110D three-layer construction combines polyester, polyurethane, modacrylic and cotton, with a flame-resistant lining and FR fleece for added protection and insulation. Flame-retardant thread is used throughout the seams, while the waterproof construction and sealed seams help protect the wearer from wet conditions.
Hi-Vis Design and Weather Protection
Visibility is enhanced through a double hoop tape configuration and segmented FR heat-applied reflective tape. The biomotion sleeve tape configuration is designed to make arm and limb movement more noticeable, helping maintain visibility during active work.
The parka is also built for challenging weather conditions. Its breathable waterproof fabric and sealed seams help provide protection from rain, while the insulated construction provides additional warmth when working in colder environments. The anti-static fabric is designed to dissipate electrostatic charge across its surface in accordance with EN 1149-5:2018.
Practical Features for the Worksite
The Bool HRC3 Parka includes practical features suited to electrical and industrial work. Zip-off sleeves allow the garment to be converted into a vest when conditions become warmer, providing greater versatility across changing work environments.
