Designed for demanding electrical work environments, the Sherwood Nomex HRC4 Arc Flash Kit provides a complete PPE solution for protection against arc flash hazards up to 69 cal/cm². The Size M kit combines protective garments and equipment from established manufacturers, including DuPont Nomex materials and Paulson USA components.

The kit includes an arc flash hood, jacket, bib trousers, arc flash gloves, MSA V-Gard 500 hard hat and a heavy-duty PPE bag. Supplying the essential components together helps electrical professionals prepare for high-risk work without sourcing each item individually.

High-Level Arc Flash Protection

The HRC4 kit is designed for environments requiring protection up to 69 cal/cm², making it suitable for high-energy electrical applications where appropriate arc flash PPE is required. The jacket and bib trousers are manufactured using protective Nomex materials, while the hood and gloves provide additional coverage for the head, face and hands. The supplied components are specified against relevant arc flash and electrical safety standards, including ASTM requirements, NFPA 70E and AS 4836.

Choose the Hood Configuration

Three hood configurations are available to suit different work preferences. The standard hood provides the core protective configuration, while the vented hood is designed to improve airflow and help reduce fogging. The lift-up hood provides an alternative configuration that can make communication with colleagues easier while maintaining protective coverage. The hood is supplied with its own protective bag, while the complete kit is stored in a heavy-duty waterproof PPE bag to help protect the equipment during transport and storage.
