The Sherwood 43cal Standard SWC Arc Flash Kit is a complete HRC4 personal protective equipment solution for electrical work in arc flash environments up to 43 cal/cm². Designed for professional electrical and maintenance applications, the kit combines Sherwood Nomex arc flash garments with quality components from DuPont Nomex and Paulson USA.

This Size XL kit includes the core PPE required for high-risk switching and electrical tasks: a 43 cal/cm² hood, switching coat, leggings, arc flash gloves, MSA V-Gard 500 hard hat and heavy-duty PPE bag. The supplied components are designed to work together as a complete kit, helping operators keep essential arc flash PPE organised and ready for use.

Complete 43 cal/cm² HRC4 Protection Kit

The switching coat is designed for quick donning, supporting efficient preparation before entering an arc flash work environment. The Nomex hood provides head and face protection, while the matching leggings and arc flash gloves complete the garment and hand protection included in the kit.

Three hood configurations are available. The Standard Hood provides the standard configuration, while the Vented Hood offers cooling and anti-fogging benefits. The Lift Up Hood is designed to help reduce the enclosed feeling of a conventional hood and makes communication with colleagues easier while maintaining the hood’s protective function.

Built for Professional Electrical Work

The kit is supplied in a heavy-duty waterproof PPE bag to help protect and organise the included equipment during storage and transport. The hood also comes with a protective bag, providing an additional practical storage solution.

With a 43 cal/cm² HRC4 rating, the kit is suited to professional electrical applications where arc flash PPE is required. It is available in multiple sizes, with non-standard options available on request subject to lead times.
