ArcPlus Ultralight HRC4 Arc Flash Kit for High-Level Protection
The ArcPlus Ultralight Arc Flash Kit is designed for electrical professionals who need high-level arc flash protection without the bulk and restriction associated with heavier switching suits. Rated HRC4 at 50 cal/cm², the kit provides comprehensive protective clothing for demanding electrical work where arc flash hazards need to be carefully managed.
Based on Gore Pyrad technology, the single-layer 315 gsm fabric is designed to provide a lightweight and breathable alternative to traditional multi-layer arc flash garments. The reduced weight can help improve wearer comfort and freedom of movement during extended tasks, while the practical design supports straightforward donning and doffing.
Lightweight Construction for Improved Mobility
The Ultralight kit is designed to be up to 20% lighter than competitive premium products, helping reduce the burden of wearing high-level arc flash PPE. Its breathable construction and single-layer fabric support mobility while working around electrical equipment.
The kit includes a protective jacket and trousers, providing full-body clothing protection for electrical switching applications. A protective hood and dielectric eyewear are also supplied as part of the complete kit.
Complete Arc Flash Switching Kit
Everything is supplied together in a large high-visibility storage bag, helping keep the kit’s components protected and together between jobs. The hood is supplied with a dedicated calico bag for additional storage and protection.
The kit is available in sizes from S through to 5XL, with this model supplied in 3XL. For applications requiring easier communication and reduced feelings of restriction, an optional Lift-Up Hood version is also available.
