Sherwood Nomex HRC4 Arc Flash Protection
The Sherwood Nomex Arc Flash HRC4 Lift Up Kit provides a complete PPE solution for electrical work where arc flash energy levels can reach up to 43 cal/cm². Designed with quality materials from DuPont Nomex and Paulson USA, the kit combines protective clothing, head and face protection, gloves and storage in one practical package.
The XL kit includes an HRC4 43 cal/cm² hood, jacket, bib trousers, arc flash gloves, MSA V-Gard 500 hard hat and a heavy-duty waterproof PPE bag. This makes it easier for electrical contractors and maintenance teams to keep essential arc flash PPE together and ready for use.
Lift Up Hood for Practical Site Communication
The Lift Up hood option provides an alternative to a fully enclosed standard hood, helping reduce the restrictive feeling associated with conventional arc flash face protection. It allows operators to lift the hood when appropriate, making communication with colleagues easier while maintaining the required protective equipment during hazardous electrical work. Other hood configurations are also available, including a standard hood and a vented hood designed to provide cooling and anti-fogging benefits.
Complete HRC4 PPE Kit
Each component is selected for high-energy electrical work and is specified to the supplied arc flash standards. The jacket and bib trousers are manufactured using Sherwood Nomex materials, while the hood and gloves provide additional protection for the head, face and hands. The kit is supplied in a durable waterproof PPE bag to help protect the equipment during transport and storage. The XL size is suitable for larger operators, with additional kit sizes available on request.
